Pricing and Catalog ERP System

Better Business Methods, LLC (BBM) analyzed the client’s current business processes and flows, as well as their systems functionality.  This analysis was carried out to determine what information would be important in the selection of a new ERP system.  The results of this analysis were used to create a Request For Information (RFI) document, for use in evaluating available ERP systems on the market.

The client’s requirements included functionality not provided by any of the ERP systems on the market.  BBM developed a custom application to simulate the effect of different pricing strategies on company profits, and to allow the end user to generate custom catalogs in various formats.

BBM worked in conjunction with the software vendor to implement the new ERP system.  In preparation for the migration to the new system, data from the existing system was extracted, validated, and converted to the new format.

In addition, BBM assisted the client in developing and documenting new business processes, both to best utilize the capabilities of the new ERP system, and to replace those processes identified as weak in the initial analysis.
